In its inaugural year, HAAF held its first fundraising gala in Surrey, BC. The event was attended by 500 guests, and raised over $25,000. Those funds were donated to the Bhai Ghanaya International Charitable Society, and used to build a playground at a home for abandoned girls (The Unique Home) in Jalandhar, Punjab, India.
